Homeware Haul

Over the past few months, I've seemed to accumulate a few bits and pieces of cute homeware items and stationery, so I thought I would round them all up and share them because I don't often do these types of blog posts.

Starting with my favourite and most used item, is my beloved "Time To Be Creative As Fuck" mug. It's certainly not for the fainthearted, but I just love it because it suits me down to a tee because of my job and helps me stay motivated. As a fellow designer, I really love Polly's style, it's definitely worth checking out the rest of her shop.

I used to have all of my rings in a little bowl from IKEA, but I could never find the ones that I wore the most in among the rest, so I bought this to put my most worn rings on to help keep me more organised and save time, it helps that it's super cute as well! It's currently not in stock on Lily Rose Co., but you can also find it here.

The marble trend is really in at the minute and H&M is the perfect place to find marble homeware pieces that don't cost the earth. I still don't know whether to use this little pot for make-up brushes or a little cacti though!

I got this to set on top of my dressing table to hold all of my perfumes, but it was a little smaller than I expected it to be. So, I use it on my desk to hold my earphones, glasses and maybe a few snacks.

Primark Stripe Tin Star

Normally, my local Primark don't stock that much homeware stuff, so when I saw this cute little star for only £1, I couldn't resist picking it up.

I needed somewhere to store all my receipts for the month before I start to file them, so this pretty floral box from Paperchase was the answer. I've even went back and order the large box to store some of my design books in.

I can't resist browsing the stationery isle in Home Bargains because there's so many cute little bits and pieces. I picked up this blue floral to-do list to keep me organised and motived and the cream heart cut-out pot to store all my Sharpie pens in, both for only £1!

I love inspirational and cute quotes, so when I saw these little plaques in The Card Factory for only £1, I had to have them! I gave the friend one at the end away to my best friend though.

What do you think of my homeware haul? Have you bought any homeware items recently? Let me know in the comments!

June Favourites

Apologies for the lack of blog posts at the minute, I've had a bit of a disrupt to my schedule recently, but it's on it's way to being back to normal soon. So, for now here's another, slightly later than usual, monthly favourites.

Seventeen Skin Wow! 3 Way Highlighter

At the beginning of June, I went on a little Boots Haul and picked this up, not expecting to be blown away too much, so when I tried it out for the first time I was pleasantly surprised. It works lovely as a highlighter or mixed in my foundation, but I prefer to use it as a primer as it gives a lovely lit from within look.

Topshop Cream Blush - Head Over Heels

It will be no surprise to anyone that this blush is in my favourites, I've been raving about it all month! I featured it in both a Topshop Beauty Haul & Review and Spring To Summer Make-Up blog post and ever since I've been absolutely hooked, I'd even go as far as saying it's my favourite cream blush and I hope they bring out some more shades.

Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick - Rose

If there's one thing that Revlon do really well, it's lip products. I'm a big fan of the ColourBurst Matte balms, so I thought that I would try the shade 'Rose' from the Ultra HD lipstick range and it's hardly left my lips all month. I love that it feels like a lip balm, yet has the pigmentation and longevity of a lipstick. In fact, I've even picked up a few more shades since I loved 'Rose' so much.

Bleach London Super Cool Colour - Bruised Violet

When I was a teenager, I used to experiment with my hair all the time. So much in fact, that I had to stop experimenting so that my hair could repair itself. Ever since that, there hasn't been any hair-dye in my hair, although sometimes I do wonder what my hair would look like in a certain colour. That's why I love the Bleach London Super Cool Colours so much, as they stay in your hair depending on how often you wash it, yet cause no damage whatsoever. I think they're an incredible idea for Summer if you want to be a bit creative with your hair without causing it any damage. So far, I've used the shades 'Rose', 'The Big Pink' and I've used the shade 'Bruised Violet' twice this month and I love it. To see what it looks like on my hair, it's featured on this Weekly Snapshots blog post.

Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche Skinscent

I remember buying a bottle of this incredible perfume this time last year and falling in love with it, instantly making it my all-time Summer scent. It's fast becoming a blogger favourite and I can see why, it just smells like Summer in a bottle due to the gorgeous blend of coconut, vanilla, bergamot, amber, sandalwood and jasmine. I really recommend smelling it next time you come across it in a store, no words can describe how lovely it is.

Some other favourites:

Wacom Intuos Pen & Touch Small Graphics Tablet

As some of you may know, I study Interactive Multimedia Design at university and I'll be starting placement at the beginning of August with a web and graphic design company. So, I thought I'd buy myself a graphics tablet to make life a little easier for myself. I've been familiarising myself with this all month and I love it.

Orange Is The New Black

I feel as if this is going to be in everyone's favourites this month, as it's just an incredible show with an incredible cast. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but I think season 2 was better than season 3, just due to the fact that there's so many unanswered questions, but I still loved it all the same. Also, can we just discuss how gorgeous Ruby Rose is? Such a babe!

Walk The Moon

This month I've been loving a little band called 'Walk The Moon', an American indie rock band that remind me so much of Two Door Cinema Club. Their most recent album 'Talking Is Hard' is filled with so many catchy little tunes that will make the perfect Summer playlist. 'Shut Up And Dance' has been stuck in my head all month, I've even learnt how to play it on my ukulele.

What do you think of my June favourites? Did you have any favourites this month? Let me know in the comments!
